EMMYdiocracy
Mediocracy is a situation which can occur in a democracy in which mediocre people prevail. The society is then subordinated to a quasi-egalitarian ideology in which words and ideas are redefined by mediocre people, to be convenient for mediocre people. Russian novelist Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn was a frequent critic of mediocracy in contemporary Western countries. || This where the tag cloud goes if the tag cloud loads:
I dislike political proselytizing, but is this really the best we can expect out of the party that is supposed to represent the American Left? Really? People actually think our president and his administration are too liberal, even socialist? I understand that compromises must be made in order to achieve the nirvana of bipartisanship, but:
-the rampant diminishing of civil liberties
-the blatant corporate takeover of government
-the uninhibited growth of the military industrial complex
-the misguided notion of American exceptionalism
-the continued siphoning of wealth and power to the richest 20%
These are things that must be stopped. I am not willing to compromise on this, and quite frankly neither should you or the American people.
